INFORMATION NOTICE ON DATA PROCESSING – “REGISTRATION” SECTION
PURSUANT TO EU REG. 2016/679
In relation to the processing of the personal data provided, please be informed that:
Data Controller
The Data Controller is Garaging Srl, with registered office in via Satiro no. 11, 37121, Verona (VR), Italy (email: info@garaging.it, PEC: garaging@pec.it), hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”, the “Data Controller”, the “Company” or “Garaging”.
Types of Data Processed, Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
The data collected in the form are common personal data related to Guests and Hosts (first name, last name, email, phone number, tax code, residential address, ID document, driving license details, username and password) necessary for:
a) registration on the Platform;
b) sending commercial communications promoting the Company’s activities and initiatives.
Legal basis for processing:
- fulfillment of contractual obligations for the purposes under point a);
- data subject’s consent for the purposes under point b).
Disclosure of Data to Third Parties – Data Recipients
The Company may disclose the data processed for the above purposes to internal and external parties who collaborate in executing your request, as well as to the Company managing the Platform.
Transfer of Data to Third Countries
The data processed may be transferred by the Controller to third countries for the purposes indicated above. However, in the event of such transfers, they will be carried out in compliance with Articles 44 et seq. of GDPR 2016/679 and the applicable laws in force at the time.
Processing Methods, Data Retention Period and Criteria
The data will be processed in digital format and by electronic means for the period necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes, and will then be deleted.
Profiling and Automated Decision-Making Processes
The processing is not carried out through automated decision-making processes (e.g., profiling).
Provision of Data
Providing the data referred to in point 2 a) is mandatory to fulfill the contractual relationship/service request. Failure to provide such data will result in the inability to achieve the purposes indicated. Providing the data referred to in point 2 b) is optional.
Data Subject Rights, Withdrawal of Consent, and Complaint to the Supervisory Authority
The data subject, where legally applicable, has the right at any time to request access to their personal data, its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, to object to its processing, and to exercise the right to data portability.
In any case, the data subject has the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
In the event of a suspected violation and where legally permitted, the data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection Supervisory Authority, in the EU Member State where they habitually reside or work, or where the alleged violation occurred.
