Garaging is transforming the way people find parking, leveraging the many unused parking spaces available in your city!

Anyone who owns a parking space can make it available when not in use, earning money while helping to increase the overall supply of available spaces.

Those looking for parking can browse the listings, compare descriptions and reviews, and choose the solution that best fits their needs, finding a parking spot quickly and easily.

These General Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between the parties involved, specifically:

  • Garaging Srl, with registered office at via Satiro n. 11 – 37121 – Verona (VR), VAT No. 04928260233, registered with the Verona Chamber of Commerce, REA No. VR 457121 (hereinafter “Garaging”), as the legal entity that provides access to the Garaging platform, available both as a website and mobile app (collectively the “Platform”);
  • Host, being a user who makes available a parking space (and/or other services) through the Platform;
  • Guest, being a user who uses a parking space (and/or other services) through the Platform.

The Platform is an online space that allows Hosts and Guests (jointly referred to as “Members”) to publish, offer, search, and book services. Members who provide and offer parking spaces (“Parking Spaces”) and/or additional services (“Additional Services”) are referred to as “Hosts,” while those who search, book, or use them are referred to as “Guests.”
The provision of such services by Hosts (collectively the “Host Services”) constitutes a “Listing.”

Members agree to these Terms, which govern their right to use the Platform, at the time of registration.

It is specified that Garaging is not a contractual party to agreements entered into directly between Hosts and Guests, nor an agent (except as specifically stated in sections 1.5, 1.8, 2.7), nor a broker, intermediary, or insurer. Furthermore, Garaging does not manage or directly control the content, Listings, or Host Services published on the Platform. However, Garaging reserves the right to remove any Listings that do not comply with these Terms.

HOST

1. Host Activities and Obligations

1.1 The Host
To use the Platform, the Host must complete registration by filling in all required fields in the form. Specifically, they must provide personal and billing information, login credentials (username and password), a valid email address (to be verified within 7 days), and upload a valid identity document. During registration, the Host may indicate—subject to later modification in their personal profile (“Dashboard”)—the preferred method for receiving payouts. The Host may choose between: (i) crediting payments to their Stripe account (https://stripe.com), after completing the dedicated form with account details; or (ii) crediting payments to their IBAN, after completing the relevant form and granting Garaging express authorization to collect, on behalf of the Host, the compensation paid by the Guest. For payout methods, please refer to section 1.5 of these Terms. Registration becomes effective only after Garaging has validated the email address, information, and documents provided, which validation will be communicated to the Host via email.

Once registration is successfully completed, the Host may create their Listing on the Platform, including description, features, photos of the Parking Space and/or Additional Service (e.g., electric charging), availability, price, and any other useful information.
The Host may update or modify personal details and email address at any time via their Dashboard.

The Host may view certain third-party products on the Platform. Such products are for informational purposes only and do not constitute sponsorship or advertising. Garaging declines any responsibility for the purchase or use of such products.

1.2 Agreement with Guests
Through the Platform, the Host makes their Parking Space and/or Additional Services available to Guests in exchange for a fee.

Via Listings, Hosts and Guests establish direct contact. The Guest may book a Parking Space and/or Additional Service through the App. Upon receiving booking confirmation via the Platform (“Booking”), the Host enters into a contract with the Guest under the terms specified in the Listing and receives compensation from the Guest for the Host Services offered (payout method described in section 1.5). By accepting the Booking, the Host acknowledges their independence from Garaging and accepts the service fees withheld by Garaging from their compensation.

1.3 Creating and Managing Listings
The Platform provides tools to simplify the creation and management of Listings. A Listing must include complete information about the Host Services and their pricing.

The Host is solely responsible for the content, completeness, accuracy, reliability, clarity, and updates of their Listings, as well as for indicating all obligations that Guests must comply with.

1.4 Search Results Placement
The position of a Listing in search results depends on several factors, including (but not limited to): Guest search parameters (e.g., location proximity, availability, price range, reviews), Listing characteristics (e.g., pricing, calendar availability, number and quality of photos, reviews), Guest booking experience (e.g., customer support, Host cancellation history, ease of booking), Host requirements (e.g., minimum or maximum booking duration, cut-off time), and Guest preferences (e.g., previous use, saved Listings, search location).

Hosts may request promotional services for their Listings, subject to an additional fee communicated by Garaging.

1.5 Payout Methods
To complete a Booking, the Guest must provide credit or debit card details. Payment is processed through Stripe (https://stripe.com).

At the time of Booking confirmation, the Host will receive compensation via the payout method selected at registration (or later modified):

  • Stripe account payout: Guest charges are processed three hours before the Booking start time, or immediately if booked less than three hours prior. Payout to the Host’s Stripe account occurs at the same time.
  • IBAN payout: The Host grants Garaging a collection mandate, authorizing Garaging to receive payments from Guests on behalf of the Host. Garaging is only authorized to manage payouts technically through Stripe. Payouts are settled every two weeks: amounts accrued from the 1st to the 15th are credited within two working days after the 16th; amounts accrued from the 16th to the end of the month are credited within two working days after the 1st of the following month.

Garaging may set a minimum payout threshold. If the threshold is not met, Garaging may charge an additional fee. Specific agreements regarding payment timing may prevail over these Terms if inconsistent.

1.6 Host-Guest Communications
From the time of Booking and during the use of Host Services, Hosts and Guests may view each other’s phone numbers to communicate directly.

Garaging remains excluded from any role resembling intermediation or responsibility.

1.7 Booking Cancellations by Host
The Host may cancel a Booking:

  • Up to 24 hours before the scheduled time, without penalty (Guest notified via app and email).
  • Between 24 and 12 hours before, with a penalty of 20% of the fee (Guest notified via app and email).
  • Between 12 and 3 hours before, with an obligation to refund the full fee plus 20% penalty (Guest notified via app and email).

Bookings may not be canceled within three hours of the scheduled start. If the Parking Space is unavailable, the Host must refund the Guest the full amount plus a 20% penalty.

1.8 Penalty Charges
Stripe’s payment infrastructure is also used to charge any applicable penalties to the Host.

1.9 Booking Modifications
Hosts and Guests are responsible for any modifications to Bookings made via the Platform and agree to pay any additional amounts, fees, or taxes.

1.10 Host Liability
The Host is responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and agreements related to the Parking Space and Additional Services offered, as well as for the accuracy of Listing information. Garaging bears no liability, and the Host indemnifies Garaging against any claims arising from the use of Host Services.

GUEST

2. Guest Activities and Obligations

2.1 The Guest
Through the Platform, the Guest may search for a Parking Space and/or Additional Services, using filters as needed.

To use the Platform, the Guest must complete registration by providing personal and billing information, login credentials, a valid email (to be verified within 7 days), and a valid identity document. Registration becomes effective only after Garaging validates the provided details, which validation is communicated by email.

2.2 Agreement with Host
Upon Booking, Guest and Host establish direct contact. The terms of the contract are governed by the Listing. By accepting them, the Guest acknowledges independence from Garaging, agrees to pay the Host’s fee, and accepts the Garaging service charges.

2.3 Payment Method
At the time of Booking, the Guest must provide credit or debit card details.

The total amount payable is shown in the summary before confirmation and includes:

  • Parking price (Host’s fee);
  • Service fee (Garaging’s commission), including applicable VAT;
  • Any other charges specified (e.g., penalties).

The Guest is charged via Stripe three hours before the Booking start time, or immediately if booked less than three hours prior.

2.4 Booking and Access to Parking
A Booking entitles the Guest to access and occupy the Parking Space only during the reserved period.

If the Guest wishes to extend the stay, a new Booking is required.

Three hours before the reserved time, the Guest receives app and email notifications containing private access instructions (e.g., access codes) visible only to them.

Stays beyond the reserved period are not guaranteed; the Host may remove the vehicle at the Guest’s expense, including costs from preventing subsequent users from accessing the space.

2.5 Guest-Host Communications
From the time of Booking and during the use of Host Services, Guests and Hosts may view each other’s phone numbers to communicate directly.

Garaging remains excluded from any role resembling intermediation or responsibility.

2.6 Booking Cancellations by Guest
The Guest may cancel a Booking:

  • Up to 24 hours before the scheduled time, without penalty (Host notified via app and email).
  • Less than 24 hours before, with an obligation to pay the full fee to the Host (Host notified via app and email).

Refunds for non-use of Host Services are at the Host’s sole discretion.

2.7 Penalty Charges
Stripe’s infrastructure is also used by Garaging to charge penalties to Guests where applicable.

2.8 Booking Modifications
Hosts and Guests are responsible for any modifications to Bookings and agree to pay any additional amounts, fees, or taxes.

2.9 Guest Liability
The Guest must comply with all rules of conduct, laws, and regulations related to Parking access and Additional Services used.

Garaging bears no liability, and the Guest indemnifies Garaging against any claims arising from the use of Host Services.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

3. Content Rules
“Content” means any textual, photographic, audio, video, or other material, including (but not limited to):

  • Text (titles, Listing descriptions, reviews, user messages);
  • Images and videos (photos, recordings, posters, artwork, signage).

3.1 Prohibited Content
The following are not allowed on the Platform:

  • Promotional/commercial-only content (logos, company names, links);
  • Spam or disruptive repeated content;
  • Content promoting illegal/dangerous activities, including violence, harassment, or sexually explicit material;
  • Discriminatory content of any kind;
  • Identity falsification or impersonation;
  • Illegal content or content infringing third-party rights (IP, confidentiality, privacy);
  • Harassing or abusive behavior.

Listings must not include irrelevant titles or false/misleading information.

4. Reviews
Hosts and Guests may leave reviews. Reviews may not include discriminatory, offensive, or defamatory language.
Garaging is not responsible for the content, correctness, or truthfulness of reviews.

5. Data Protection
Garaging processes collected data as Data Controller under EU Regulation 2016/679, as per the privacy policy available at [https://garaging.it/informativa-registrazione/].

6. Reports
Members may report Listings, Content, or elements posing imminent risks.
Members must also report any misuse, loss of confidentiality, or compromise of their login credentials or phone number. Reports may be sent via email to info@garaging.it or via the Platform form.

7. Term
This Agreement remains valid until terminated by the Host, Guest, or Garaging.

8. Withdrawal
Garaging may withdraw with 30 days’ notice by email.
Hosts and Guests may withdraw at any time by emailing info@garaging.it or deleting their account. Existing Bookings are handled as per sections 1.7 and 2.6.

9. Violations
In case of: (i) breach of Terms, (ii) repeated negative reviews or reports, (iii) arbitrary Booking cancellations, or (iv) failure to respond to Bookings, Garaging may:

  • Suspend/limit access to the Platform;
  • Suspend/remove Listings, reviews, or content;
  • Cancel pending/confirmed Bookings.

10. Termination
Garaging may terminate this Agreement immediately without notice in case of breach or 24 months of account inactivity. Terminated accounts and content will not be restored.

11. Amendments to Terms
Changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before taking effect. The updated version will be published on the Platform. Members may reject changes by withdrawing before they take effect. Silence implies acceptance after 14 days.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes shall be submitted to the court of the consumer’s residence or, alternatively, to the court of Verona (Italy).

13. Google Terms
Translations on the Platform may be provided by Google. Google gives no warranties regarding accuracy or reliability. Google Maps/Earth services are subject to Google’s additional terms.

14. Google Play and Apple Store Terms
By downloading and accessing the Garaging App, Members accept the applicable Google Play and Apple Store terms and licenses.

15. Stripe Terms
Regarding payments processed through Stripe, Members accept Stripe’s applicable terms.

16. Emails and SMS
Garaging will send communications to Members at the email or phone number provided during registration. Garaging may also send newsletters, which Members may unsubscribe from.

Approval of Specific Clauses
In accordance with Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code and Articles 33 and 34 of Legislative Decree 206/2005, the following clauses are specifically approved: 1.2, 1.3, 1.6, 1.7, 1.9, 1.10, 2.2, 2.5, 2.6, 2.8, 2.9, 9, 10, 12.
